My Vivienne Westwood Leopard print clutch. Anyone who knows me should be aware of my love of the Westwood from the ethics of this designer to the simplicity of the brand i just adore everything Vivienne. Especially when Ms Westwood brought out a bag collection called Newcastle! Simply awesome and Rock and Roll.
Come thru Stevie Nicks meets Peaky Blinders. I absolutely adore this checked flat cap. It is so complementing and i love wearing it. Its stylish and easy to wear with comfy fit. I purchased this hat from Primark.
Rupi Kaur’s Milk and Honey has really brought in a breathe of fresh air and positivity especially coming into a new year and January blues. This book has brought so much joy and comfort especially when i have had a few negative set backs so its always a pleasure to have something to there to put your thoughts into perspective. Milk and Honey is beautifully written with lovely illustrations to accompany the poems. Of course along with mt latest read i have enjoyed many lush baths from my Christmas stock pile of bath bombs and you can never go wrong with a lush bath.
I got Lust for Life on Vinly for my birthday and i utterly adore the whole album. It simply dreamy and i would not expect anything less from my queen Lana Del Rey. Some of my favourite songs are Lust for life, Beautiful people, Beautiful problems, White Mustang and Summer bummer. I highly recommend this album.
I have enjoyed wearing more bold colours on my lips being more dangerous and adventurous with my looks. Wearing more red lippies has given me loads of confidence and a sense of identity which i am enjoying.
I am ready for summer and i cant wait to do some travelling and festivals so i have started getting prepared for my Rome adventure roll on August. I am going for bold colours, dramatic flare and being fearless with my Italian chic look. I purchased this Kaftan from Boohoo £15. I adore the bright orange colour and the tassels and wide sleeve looks so 70’s.
I got to attend a fashion based event with the wonderful team at Intu Metrocentre as based on how we as women empower ourselves through fashion, when our voices are over shadowed and ignored. Yes my little inner feminist is coming out, looking at our fashion history with Meridith Towne, Costume historian and dressmaker, was fascinating and i learned a few things that i never knew, such as;
-Women in the past who were in power had to dress as men, because they were not accepted to dress as a woman due to dominating powerful roles being run by men only.
-The house of commons has no dress code for women BUT men are restricted to a suit and tie, Many female politicians wear graphics tees to vocalise their political opinions
-The only place in the UK a woman could get a degree in the 19th century was in Durham! GO NORTH EAST
Along with looking at outfit’s over the decades, accessories and of course shoes!. Meridith lead a very informative talk filled with interesting facts, props and spoke so much about her passion about fashion and her political fashion insights through the pro feminist movement.
We were then served delicious appetisers and pizzas from the wonderful team at Zizzi’s which went down a treat. Along with the extensive talk from Meridith we got to make our own custom made makeup bags with Crafthood, which was so much fun. I got to use the stamps to print my own design, my bag was inspired by the Gucci 2017 campaign. Using the stamper i popped my initials down in a type writer style format and then found a fabulous bee stamper! I even got to learn how to make tassels, which are trickier than they may appear. But i was so proud of myself and happy with the over all outcome, i will certainly be using this on my travels. Thanks Crafthood.
Crafthood provide a range of activities for all occasions if you love craft then Crafthood is certainly for you. www.thecrafthood.co.uk.
I had a lovely evening learning about something new, creating some new and tasting something new, it was truly an evening of new experiences, which proves theirs is always more and more to the fashion world every season.
Thank you to Rachel and the team at Intu fort the invite and the wonderful goody bag. To Meridith for teaching me ways i can make myself powerful without using words but fashion and Crafthood for the wonderful experience of making something practical with a stamp of my individuality on it.

I noticed that recently in this world we do so little for others and so much for ourselves. It’s always welcoming and admirable when we do something for someone we have never met or for a worthy cause. So when fellow Blogger babe Toni put on a fashion event in aid of the Burns unit, well i simply had to come along and be involved.
The wonderful owner of The Next Big Thing events Toni Eaton was presenting a night in aid of the Burns Unit Royal Victoria Newcastle, A heart breaking event shattered Toni’s life as she states in her own words “I received a call to find out my dad had been in a gas explosion, leaving him with 60% plus third degree burns internal and external” Toni Eaton (https://fashprenuer.com/2017/05/16/what-is-happening-at-the-burns-unit-catwalk-event/). This horrific and frightful experience shattered the whole family, after an induced comma and three months recovery, Toni’s father was then moved to the burns were he received excellent care, support and structure throughout his recovery. The dedication of the staff stood out to Toni and for her event she decided to host a spectacular run way filled of fashion, glamour and show casing brands from across the north east. All funds raised are being donated to the Burns unit at the Royal Victoria as a thank you for all their support and to provide the hospital with some funding to continue their valuable work with patients.
The event showcased Lingerie from the luxurious Black Velvet (Black Velvet), in which i have decided i want everything and especially for my honeymoon, The pieces were divine and simply oozed elegance. Some festival looks and summer pieces were provided by Slaves2style (Slaves2Style) showing us modern, chick looks for this summers 2017. Their was something for the Guy’s from Marshall Brady clothing (Marshall Brady Clothing). Which really stood out to me and had some great pieces, Which I might get Alex for our trip to Florida… I love seeing a catwalk that show cases both male and female trends, looks and must haves, especially when i am my fiance’s personal stylist!. My jaw hit the floor when Katherine Davidson’s (katherinedavidson.co.uk). Bridal and occasion wear came on and it provided me with so much wedding inspo, The dress with the tulle and floral detailing were extravagant, striking and breathtaking. These dresses are ideal for the ‘non traditional’ bride like myself or more alternative brides who want a bit more shall we say… Va Va Voom!
Congratulations to our Northern blogger and events planner Toni Eaton for raising £660.50 and it’s still going up, every penny can go to supporting staff costs or vital equipment and it is all for a valuable cause if you wish to donate, Toni has set up a justgiving page https://www.gofundme.com/burns-unit-catwalk and you can also follow Toni’s superb Blog www.fashprenuer.com.
It was a wonderful event filled with fabulous fashion and all for great cause!
This first lookbook is all about Gingham Mixed with a soft pastel pink jacket, I really love this look as i feel it bring’s in a twist of vintage with a modern day look. Pastels’ are a big look for spring/ summer 2017 and Gingham will always make a relevant appearance in modern day fashion. This look is simple and easy to do, this look could be updated for a night out by adding a air of nice heels and a clutch bag.
Gingham dress £6
For my Trip to magic Kingdom, i am doing a fairy tale dapper day look, This skirt will be featured on my america look book, but i combined it with gingham dress. The skirt comes in a range of pastel colours such as mint green, pink and purple. The skirt has net over lay and a plain under skirt underneath. I teamed this look with my rose gold glittery espadrilles. I love how pastel and romantic this look is and it is super comfortable.

I was invited to join the Intu Eldon square for a night of fashion, make-up and the latest trends to grace 2017 and let me tell you the return of pastel pinks and floral’s have me excited. The intu Eldon square have recently opened the walk in wardrobe experience which runs from the 24th of March until April. These workshops provide you with a greater insight about your body shape, colour preference and it provides you as the retailer and customer to be provided with helpful support and advice as to what makes you pop. For more information http://intu.co.uk/eldonsquare/events/the-walk-in-wardobe-fashion-experience
Each workshop is personalized to you and your individual needs and to help with any fashion enquirers. Emma our wonderful host and trend guru was very informative and let us in on what to expect for the spring/summer season. SO here we go……
80’s is making a come back, remember what your mum would wear on a night out to the club while listening to wham? Yes that trend is come back with a vengeance so get ready to see more frills, puffed shoulder sleeves and shoulder pads, so prepare to go back to the 80’s.
.Leisure wear is making an appearance thanks to celebs such as the Kardashian’s wearing a tracksuit and joggy bottoms has never looked so cool, so cropped hoodies, fitted joggy bottoms and jersey fabrics are running at us.
Pastel has recently been very relevant but blush pink is this seasons colour to envy, all shades of soft pink and baby pinks are coming back and we are in love. That sense of romanticism with soft and warming colours is making us all blush and is great on a range of different skin tones.
The final must have for your wardrobe is good old fashioned floral’s in all form’s from prints to embroidery.Flower power is making its fight back into out latest trend and perfect for this new season. (Tip from Emma) floral patterns can in fact distract the eye from areas of your body you may be self conscious about and can focus the eye on areas you like! Floral has never looked so good. Feeling very Gucci inspired this spring!
Finally we did a make-up master class with the fabulous girls from Bobbi Brown. As contouring is slowing down the natural more toned down look is emerging and i couldn’t be more pleased as contouring isn’t exactly my forte. I loved the Bobbi Brown foundation stick as it appeared simple and easy to use. My favorite product was the illuminating moisture balm and it looks and smells amazing, a must on my skin care list. I really loved learning more about Bobbi brown and the company’s ethics and passion towards delivering good quality products with elements that women love. I found the team very warm and inviting and their insight into the nature of make-up fascinating! I think i will be returning for some new make-up products soon.
The event was wonderful thanks to Reds for providing the spread, To Emma for her insight and for the team at Bobbi Brown for providing further knowledge. I had a fantastic night and everything provided by Intu Eldon Square was very thoughtful and kind, Thank you and goodnight.

Wearing my hallow collective patch on my favorite cosy jacket, i love the mix of faux sheep skin with the tan suede jacket. I wore my stripey top and mixed denim skirt to complete this look.
Today’s looks is very rock n roll inspired. I spent the day with family and friends visiting a vintage record sale, enjoying a latte from the cold and snapping pictures of my beautiful city Newcastle in all its glory. My look today was to incorporate my new favorite metallic skirt, with some black and white vans on my feet and my zara ‘kiss the boy’ tee famously posted about here – kiss the boy tee. I then layered my LA bomber jacket on top to add that certain grease is the word look to my outfit. Along with my shades i set off and took some amazing pictures and had a lovely time.
Hope everyone is having a sweet Saturday.

Greetings to anyone reading,
Sorry i have been slightly MIA due to my dissertation killing me softly and moving house, has kind of messed my whole set up upside down and i decided to take a break from blogging as i only want to share the best of my blogging content, I find sometime’s when you are blogging you become trapped under the pressures and the write up’s come from the brain not the heart and i hate not staying true to myself and my blog.
So i am starting this year as i mean to go on which is positive, I was born in January and therefore always see this ‘blue’ month as a progression month, a month where i evaluate everything i need and want to achieve. I always felt like my ‘fashion’ content was slightly neglected due to me being without a proper professional camera but now that has changed with my new addition the Sony A500. I plan on extended my fashion content further sharing all my outlandish and rock n roll look books as regularly as i can.
I absolutely adore these pleated skirts and even more so when they come in metallic pinks, silvers and gold’s. Literally Instagram worthy. The metallic skirt comes in a range of colours and styles i went for the dusty pink as it complemented my skin tone more than the other colour and looked very romantic, classy and flattering. The skirt was £13 and I really love the length of the skirt and it would look great with a little bomber jacket and a band tee for a more casual look. I like how this skirt can be converted from day to night providing two looks in one.
Stay tuned for some more fabulous fashion and quirky posts
